These Financial Aid Programs are available to help pay for tuition, tools, supplies and other expenses related to education for qualifying full-time students:
Pell Grants: These federal grants help qualifying adult students fund education after high school without repayment. Must have high school diploma or GED to qualify.
WIA Training Voucher: Individual Training Accounts are available at County Job & Family Services offices for educational needs of eligible residents. Minimal requirements are needed for these non-repayable funds.
ORSC Funds: Financial assistance is available through the local Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (BVR & BSVI) office for clients with documented disabilities or handicaps.
TAA Funding: Ohio Job & Family Services determines the qualifications of recently laid-off persons for these funds that do not have to be paid back.
Veterans’ Education Benefits: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs administers education benefits to eligible veterans through various programs that serve those with military service and their families.
