Pioneer Students head to SkillsUSA Nationals - Second year in a row!

Pioneer students will compete at the Annual SkillsUSA Championships held June 21 - 28, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri. Kelsey Saum, Tyler Quibell and Mark Garcia are the three members of the Pioneer Community Service team that placed 1st at the State Contest. This is the second year in a row that our Community Service Team is heading to nationals! Caleb Ferguson placed 3rd at state in the Criminal Justice Contest earning him a bronze medal.

More than 15,000 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from more than 1,100 national corporations, trade associations, businesses and labor unions participate in the event. The SkillsUSA Championships is the national-level competition for career and technical education students, over 5,900 students compete in 98 occupational and leadership skill areas.
