Homeland Security & Terrorism

In this program, you will be provided training in law enforcement, homeland security & terrorism and the protection of lives and property. During the junior year all students complete OPOTA training. Senior students study Homeland Security & Terrorism or the Private Security Academy (Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy - OPOTA). These educational pathways provide opportunities to earn specialized certifications in the subject area. Both pathways include certifications in First Aid & CPR, A.S.P. (expandable baton), pepper spray, taser, NIMS, ICS and FEMA.
