Adult Diploma and Adult 22+ Programs
Over 22 and need a high school diploma? Pioneer Career & Technology Adult Education is here to help! The State of Ohio has two programs to help individuals in this situation. We are your local resource.
Adult Diploma Program
The Adult Diploma Program provides job training and a pathway for adults ages 20 or older to earn a high school diploma AND industry credentials aligned to one of Ohio's in-demand jobs. Students will need to complete WorkKey tests: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents and receive an overall total of 14. Choose from STNA (87 hours), Phlebotomy (180 hours), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (440 hours), Welding Technology (150 hours) or Construction Technology (360 hours) to complete. Students will need to have 100% attendance and pass their certification test to be eligible to receive diploma.
Adult 22+ High School Diploma Program
The 22+ High School Diploma Program helps adults earn a high school diploma. The program is FREE to adults who are over 22 years old, live in Ohio, and do not have a diploma or GED. The 22+ program is an online credit recovery program. A transcript from the last high school attended will be needed to determine if student meets requirements. Students are ineligible for the program if four credits or more are needed.
