Construction Technology
Syllabus includes but is not limited to:
- Safety procedures on the job site
- Proper use of hand and power tools
- OSHA 10 Training
- Interior construction finishes such as walls, floors and cabinets
- Exterior finishes such as masonry, siding and roofing
Instruction will be a mix of lecture, skill demonstration and 140 hours of on the job training.
Certification - OSHA 10, NCCER Core and NCCER Level 1 Construction Technology
Program cost Includes: classroom materials, supplies, cost of OSHA, certification cost, textbooks and WorkKeys assessments
Program requirements: Must have high school diploma or GED. Students are required to take three WorkKeys assessment tests: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents. .
