UPDATE: Due to the rainy weather forecast for April 26th Community Service Day has been moved to Friday, May 3.
This Friday, April 26th, Pioneer will be holding its 9th Annual Community Service Day. All 1,100+ Pioneer students will be out and about doing projects to help make their communities a better place to live. Project sites include parks, city buildings, community organizations and schools. Every group of students will be supervised by Pioneer employees to ensure the project is done appropriately. Monday students were given their assignment for this event. Students will not be coming to Pioneer on Friday. Students have the option of driving directly to their job site or they may take a bus from their home school to their job site and back. If students are taking a bus they must be at their home school by 8:30 AM. Otherwise, students need to be at the job site by 9 AM and will be released around 2 PM. Students are encouraged to dress for the weather, including rain. Some of the job sites may be muddy and/or wet. Lunch will be provided for the students. Any students who are on early job placement or are half day student are not required to participate in this event. Any other student not in attendance will be treated as an absence from school. If you have any questions, please call Pioneer at 419-347-7744.
