Full Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager role will be working for Adena's Special Projects Group. Typically, these projects are under the $2.5 million dollar project size.

The APM is responsible for leading, directing and coordination the day-to-day management of the commercial construction projects including:

  • Reviewing estimates
  • Developing schedules
  • Updating project budgets
  • Completing and overseeing change requests
  • Completing required reports and communicating with the appropriate parties involved
  • Overseeing closeout and job completion documentation
  • Additional duties based on the full job description


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred OR the equivalent work experience in this area
  • Strong computer experience required
  • VISTA accounting and project management software experience preferred
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
