Full Job Description

Growing medical spa in Ontario is seeking to hire a dynamic part-time clinical assistant, that may eventually lead to full-time. The candidate must be committed to the ongoing growth of the practice providing the highest quality of care and customer service, while maintaining and delivering efficient, effective, ethical, and safe patient care.

Job Duties

Ideal candidate will be a witty, personable, motivated and eager individual to assist in the daily operations as required:

  • Patient check-in and check-out, including rooming and preparing patient for provider.
  • Preparing treatment rooms and assisting providers with procedures and other patient care.
  • Assist in capturing and creating daily content for multiple social media platforms

(Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) including stories and feed posts.

  • Edit short snippets/ videos.
  • Engage with our audience and aid in trendy ideas for upcoming campaigns.
  • Assist in writing informative and engaging caption for each specific channel.
  • Assist in designing posts and stories using various graphics while staying on top of the latest trends.
  • Ensuring that patient before and after photos have been taken with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate with patients and make them feel comfortable while taking their photo.
  • Organizing Before and After photos.
  • Stay up to date on current medical spa trends.
  • Keep service rooms clean and set up for the next patient. Keep supplies ready in the treatment rooms and inform management when stock is running low.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Keep all supplies clean and sterile.
  • Administer injections.
  • Educate and consult with clients regarding skincare services and products based on need.
  • Act as a first impression agent, always ensuring a warm and friendly welcome to all patients.
  • Understand the medical spa software, treatments offered, and retail products.
  • Daily opening and closing duties
  • Maintain a professional attitude and high standard of appearance and personal hygiene in accordance with the practice's guidelines.
  • Additional responsibilities may include follow-up with current patients and answer any questions the patients may have with treatments
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • possess computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • must be team-oriented
  • previous experience and knowledge of services offered desired
  • Strong social media knowledge and experience required
  • Phlebotomy and IV experience preferred

Hourly requirement is 20 hours per week with the potential to increase based on practice need.
Day shift, M-F hours typical but must be flexible for an occasional evening or weekend event.
Hourly pay based on experience and skills.

Note: While we prefer certain skills, it is vital to our practice that the candidate will be able to work well with our team and our patients and have an open mind to grow in continuing education and trainings offered.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
