Join the NEW Bell Stores Team in Galion! As a Bell Stores Customer Service Representative, you have the opportunity to make our customer's day by providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction!

  • 2nd shift is generally 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. 2nd Shift is busy as our customers are on their lunch hour, on their way home from school, work, or travel so our primary goal is to provide FAST, EFFICIENT and FRIENDLY service.
  • 1st shift generally checks in vendors, stocks merchandise on our sales floor and in our coolers.
  • ALL 2nd Shift Customer Service Representatives will be trained to prepare, promote and maintain fresh and tasty pizza and wings in our HBP kiosk for our customers to grab-n-go or special order by phone or in person. In addition, our HBP kiosk team members are responsible for following specific instructions in the preparation and packaging of our HBP menu items and comply with local and state food safety regulations.
  • 2nd shift may assist with checking in vendors but continues to stock merchandise on our sales floor and in our coolers.
  • All of our Customer Service Representatives handle money transactions and are responsible for following our company policies and procedures regarding money orders, lottery sales, coupons, cash drawer drops, and the sale of alcohol and tobacco products - just to name a few.
  • All of Customer Service Representatives are involved in maintaining our GOLD standard (Grand Opening Look Daily) meaning that we take great pride in our facilities by cleaning inside and outside, facing products on our shelves and coolers and minimizing safety hazards in our workplace.
  • Characteristics necessary for all Bell Stores Team Members include:
    • Customer Service oriented - do you like helping others?
    • Outgoing, personable and approachable and the ability to effectively communicate with others
    • Positive Attitude - is your glass half full?
    • Ability to follow instructions/directions, work rules and procedures.
    • Multi-tasking is a must in this role! Do you have the ability to "juggle" multiple tasks at one time?
    • Honest with integrity- it's our culture!
    • Reliable and dependable - can you commit to working your shift? Must be able to be work "inpromptu" shifts or days.
    • Team Player is essential in our work environment. We strongly believe that there is NO "I" in Team!
Qualifications

Previous experience in Retail/Convenience store customer service is helpful but not necessary. Our team will train you the BellStores method of Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction! We are looking for future team members with:

  • Successful performance work record and attendance record
  • Dependable, Reliable and Resourceful
  • Neat in appearance; clean hygiene
  • Flexible, meaning that you are able to work other shifts than your "normal" shift in time of need.
  • Certified with a minimum Level 1 Food Handler Safety Training. If not certified, training and certification will be provided by BellStores.

Physical Tasks involved in all Bell Stores positions:

  • Standing – 90 %
  • Lifting up to 40# - for stocking shelves, coolers, back room - daily
  • Reaching – daily (above head – cigarette racks, storage shelves, etc.)
  • Bending – daily (down and side to side)
  • Pushing – brooms, mops, dolly on wheels – daily
  • Pulling – cart daily
