Baillie Lumber's St. James facility in Galion, OH is hiring for a forklift operator/lumber piler. If you previously worked as a warehouse worker or any entry level general labor position before, you'll be a great fit for this role. These positions are full time opportunities working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Forklift Operator/Lumber Piler Pay & Benefits:

• $14.50-$17/hour DOE

Forklift Operator/Lumber Piler Responsibilities:

• Operating forklift in a warehouse setting
• When not driving a forklift, Employee will be required to work as a Lumber Stacker General Laborer
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for. Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
• High School degree preferred, but not required.
• Assist in all areas of production
• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision

Forklift Operator / Production Labor Qualifications

• Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift of 10,000 lbs. and heavier required
• Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
• Must be self motivated and organized
• Willingness to work in outside environment
• Willingness to work overtime
• Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
• Ability to work independently
