JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of this position is to supervise Plant Maintenance Skilled Trades personnel in the process of installing, repairing and maintaining all production equipment and machinery in proper working order. The Maintenance Supervisor will assure that repairs are performed in a professional, efficient, and timely manner utilizing all manufacturers’ specifications available while adhering to all safety rules and regulations. This position also requires the availability to work any shift in addition to overtime as needed. This position also requires the availability to work any shift in addition to a 7 day work week.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and support to maintenance skilled trades personnel.
• Assure maintenance requirements are met in a professional, efficient, and timely manner.
• Work extra time as required to minimize production downtime.
• Place emphasis on continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and employee involvement.
• Perform special projects or assignments as needed.

EDUCATION/SKILLREQUIREMENTS:

• Three to five years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing environment with experience in mechanical steel tubing a plus.
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and other technical related skills.
• A willingness to work off-shift operations.
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving skills, and strong computer skills.
• Strong self motivation and strong decision making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
