This full-time role is based in Mansfield, Ohio, or Houston, Texas, working closely with and reporting to IDEAL’s Vice President.

  • Designing go-to-market strategic plans, creatively producing the assets, proactively executing on our plans from development to distribution and promotion.
  • Marketing and Communications plan: assist in developing, scheduling, implementing, measuring, and improving internal and external marketing communication plans to support initiatives and achieve IDEAL's objectives across all channels and outlets - from press, trade, and direct-customer relations to collateral, content, digital and social media campaigns.
  • Promotional activities: assist in the development and execution of global promotional activities using events, fairs, online campaigns, print media, and other media vehicles to promote products, systems, and services through the whole life cycle
  • Creative: assist in the development of creative assets and their execution, including graphics, graphic design, layout, image capture, curation, in addition to editing and copywriting.
  • Message alignment: ensure sound communication and strong brand identity across multiple and appropriate media in line with the IDEAL marketing strategy to extend the company's visibility and recognition as a leading global brand with the highest standards.
  • Targets: assist in the definition of critical goals and quality metrics for marketing and communications initiatives. Reviews and evaluates results upon completion of the activities with management leaders.
  • External resources: researches, identifies, and selects external marketing and communications service providers where applicable, focusing on leveraging pre-approved resources. Coordinates delivery targets and quality for externally assigned activities and monitors ongoing progress and resolves issues.


  • Relevant experience in marketing and communications
  • Cross-functional comfort in strategy, creative, design, execution, and project management.
  • Experience in print and digital channels, live events, presentations, and trade shows.
  • Graphic design and layout expertise.
  • Exceptional copywriting, editing, and wordsmithing skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Adobe Spark.
  • Experience with WordPress CMS, HTML, CSS, and a particular understanding of SEO. Experience with Divi is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Google Adwords and Bing, Linkedin, and other social advertising platforms.
  • Experience managing social media platforms simultaneously including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, & YouTube.
  • Understanding of social/web metrics and knowledge of KPIs such as impressions, reach, engagement, among others.
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills, including PowerPoint.
  • Comfort with highly technical subjects and materials and an eye for detail required.
  • Advanced photography and video capture skills a plus
  • Industrial or B2B marketing experience a plus


  • Daily minimum of 8 hours. Weekly 40-hour minimum.
  • This position generally operates in a professional office environment.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • Travel may be required. Must be able to travel throughout the United States and abroad. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and US-issued driver's license.
