Program Spotlight: State Tested Nurses Aide (STNA)
STNAs are an in demand career and serve a vital role in day to day direct patient care for patients in hospitals and nursing home residents. Earning your STNA can also be a stepping stone to earning an LPN or RN license. Pioneer offers evening STNA classes beginning in September, December, and March. The Pioneer Adult Education Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program leads a career in the fast paced medical field. Students will learn a wide range of skills during the program including Phlebotomy, CPR, ECG, office management, HIPAA, OSHA, medical terminology, and anatomy and physiology. The program also includes a 40 hour externship of on the job training. During the 2020-2021 school year, the program featured a 100% credential passage and placement rate.
