Our program will teach you the basics of maintaining, repairing, and operating small engines for everything from lawn mowers and chain saws to recreational vehicles.

TAKE A 360º TOUR OF POWER EQUIPMENT MECHANICS

Troubleshoot, repair, and assemble 4-cycle and 2-cycle gas engines and power-driven transmissions.
Service small engines and equipment including lawn mowers, tractors, recreational vehicles, and hydraulic systems.
Operate a wide range of modern tools and machinery used in power equipment technology.
Perform fabrication and welding repairs to restore and modify equipment components.
Maintain company vehicles through regular diagnostics, servicing, and inspections.

Train in small engine repair and power equipment maintenance, including:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing internal combustion engines

  • Understanding mechanical principles of 2-stroke and 4-stroke cycle engines

  • Maintaining and repairing fuel, ignition, and power drive systems

  • Safety standards

Prepared for immediate employment and further education.
