In the Precision Machining program, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to apply today’s technology to the cutting and forming of materials, making essential parts for industrial production. Learn design, machining, and setup techniques that are key in the rewarding field of manufacturing.

TAKE A 360º TOUR OF PRECISION MACHINING TECHNOLOGIES

Invent, design, and manufacture tools and components for a wide range of production and industrial needs.
Utilize advanced computer-controlled technology to machine parts from steel, aluminum, plastic, and other materials.
Work daily with industry-leading equipment and techniques to gain hands-on, real-world experience.

Train in precision machining and manufacturing technology, including:

  • Machine setup, operation, and maintenance

  • Proficiency with lathes, milling, drill presses, and grinding machines

  • Experience in CNC equipment and CAD/CAM software

  • Skills in layout, fitting, assembly, and blueprint reading

  • Knowledge of cutting tool geometry
