Shelby, Ohio – Pioneer Career and Technology Center proudly celebrated student achievement during its 2026 Awards Night, recognizing outstanding students and scholarship recipients from across its partner districts.

The evening honored the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of Pioneer students while also highlighting the many scholarships and awards made possible through the continued support of families, community members, and business partners who invest in student success. In total, more than $1 million in scholarships has been awarded to Pioneer’s Class of 2026 seniors.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Pioneer’s highest honor, the Byron H. Carmean Award. This year’s recipient is Audrey Wolford, an Early Childhood Education senior from Crestview. Selected from a group of distinguished nominees, Wolford exemplifies excellence in her program, leadership, and commitment to her future.

Throughout the event, students were recognized for their achievements across a wide range of career-technical programs, reflecting Pioneer’s mission to prepare students with real skills, real knowledge, and real-world success.

Pioneer Career and Technology Center extends its congratulations to all nominees, award recipients, and scholarship winners, and thanks the many supporters who make these opportunities possible.
